1) Experience
Should have experience and ability to exercise sound judgment in matters that relate to the current and long term needs and objectives of the SSRB that will contribute positively to the decision-making processes of the SSRB.
2) Reputation
A reputation for integrity, honesty and adherence to high ethical standards in the spreadsheet modelling sector.
3) Commitment
The individual must have a commitment to participating in the industry for the long term.
4) Competency & Industry
Requisite competency levels as either model developers or model users.
5) No Conflicts of Interest
Should not have, or appear to have, a conflict of interest that would impair the nominee's ability to represent the interests of the SSRB.
6) Use of the Standards
The individual must have a commitment to applying the Best Practice Spreadsheet Modelling Standards in relation to spreadsheet development, maintenance and use.
7) Contribution to the Standards
An individual who has contributed to the addition, deletion or modification of Best Practice Spreadsheet Modelling Standards.
8) Membership Approval
Any SSRB nominee must be approved by the chairman or 75% of existing members, via a vote, in order to be accepted as a member of the SSRB. Nominees will be given the opportunity to present to the SSRB prior to voting.
SSRB Members must satisfy these criteria on an ongoing basis. The Chairman of the SSRB may remove any member from the SSRB on the basis that they fail to meet one or more criteria, subject to 75% of the SSRB supporting the member's continued membership. |
